Confetti Man released a few weeks ago, if you haven't read it yet read it here, I was very excited that I had finally gotten it finished and I would like to talk about future issues and share some concept art

There are going to be ALOT more Confetti Man issues in the future, I am going to try to finish a bunch to the point I can release issues around a weekly/monthly schedule. You'll get to meet a whole lot of new iconic characters that you can fall in love with.

We FINALLY released Mighty Tanker Power Wankers after 1 year and 3 months of back breaking development. We had intended to release the game on Pixel Day 2023 but we had too much stuff we wanted and we had missed the deadline by a year.

2023 RECAP

During 2023 Mellow Minds released 4 games!

Ticked Off!, an April Fools Day game we had planned to release on April 1st but couldn't quite meet the deadline and had to release it on the early April 2nd. You play Minesweeper but you always lose.

Into the Crabyss, a game that was made for the Kaijujam 2 over on itch.io. You play as Crabulore, a little crab with a dream of becoming a city destroying kaiju! Originally it was uploaded to itch but was later updated and uploaded to Newgrounds.

Hauling Ass, a game where you play as 2 coworkers competing in the ass hauling factory for a raise. This game has become the most successful and popular Mellow Minds game at release! It was also the first Mellow Minds game to hit the frontpage! (Thank you for playing the game!)

Attack of Mechaningale, a game made for the Mechjam held on itch.io. You play as Mechaningale to destroy a city. It's a classic arcade style high score game. This game was originally posted to itch months ago but Octopus updated the game which helped it become the official second Mellow Minds games to hit the frontpage! On Christmas no less! (Thank you for playing the game!)

2024 PRECAP

In the year 2024, we at Mellow Minds have plans to continue to improve our games!

Pixel Day 2024, over the past year we have been working on a game for Pixel Day. Originally we had planned to release it on Pixel Day 2023 but we found out we had too much work to do and eventually we missed the deadline, but, this Pixel Day 2024 we plan on releasing it! Keep your eyes peeled for this Pixel Day 2024.

Squirrel Game, this game doesn't have a release date yet but we're aiming for a 2024 release.

UNRELATED TO MELLOW MINDS

Confetti Man, I have plans to release a full 16 page web comic of my super hero Confetti Man! I hope to make a full series of comics out of this Confetti Man character. I wanted to release this comic for the #sweetsixteencomic comic here on newgrounds but couldn't quite finish it.

Art, I plan on continuing to improve my art and I want to branch out to other mediums of art this year and try out some new programs.

Music, I'd like to get into music this year but i haven't done much looking into it so who knows we'll see.

It has OFFICIALLY been 1 year since the release of the first Mellow Minds game, Tomato Clicker. This post serves as a way for me to post some other behind the scenes development doodles that I never shared on my Twitter.

TOMATO CLICKER

Originally Tomato Clicker was going to be in a collection of 52 microgames (some of our future games might also have been from this collection). We had started working on another game as a class project but the development of that game was rather slow, so, one day after work I decided I wanted to release something soon and began working.

I figured Tomato Clicker wouldn't take more than a month or 2 to develop but my work ethic is fairly abysmal so it took about 5 months.

The idea for the Tomato to change each click was taken from Pico Clicker by Jack. The idea for funny cartoon sound effects was just because I thought it'd be cool, originally it was going to just be a clicking sound but I thought sound effects would be more interesting.

Some behind the scenes for the Newgrounds Direct Trailer. I forgot to do 1 part so we didn't end up submitting the trailer until the fairly last second. LUCKILY the directors of that direct were quite lenient on submission so we were perfectly fine.
